yaḥya lmeƹmedan
1g aydin n ussan yeḍherred yaḥya lmeƹmedan g lexla n lyehuwdiya yetbeccer: 2yemmal: «tabeṯ rahiy yeqrebbed lmelekuwt n ujenna.» 3aḏ yaḥya d netta lliy yufley felles nnabiy icƹeya seg lemmi yuwa:
«lḥes n yjen yesγuyu g lexla.
<seḥedreṯ abriyḏ n rebbiy,
terrem ibriyḏnis qƹeḏḏen. > »
4aḏ yusi yaḥya yireḍ meryul seg luber n lγem. aḏ iḥezzem s lḥzam n ylim. aḏ itet g ijraḏ aḏ temamt n lγabeṯ. 5yaxy ffeγnes midden n uwrceliym aḏ lyehuwdiya lkulha aḏ lḥumaṯ lliy tman lurdun lkul. 6aḏ wsiyn tzizdiyen af fusis g lweḏ n lurdun, aḏ ttesteƹƹerfen s bekkeḍunsen.
7mniyn yezra yaḥya ggeṯ d iferysiyyen aḏ d iṣedduwqiyiyen ttesend bac azizdiyen yuwayasen:
«ay ṭarwa n tlefsiwin, mam yseḥefdewem arulem amyuh seg aγeccec lliy tadyas. 8yexs siḵeneṯ ttuwbtwem s igga n ḥaja teṣbiḥet. 9aḏ withenneṯec imanuwem aḏ kennim temmelem: < ibrahiym d babenneγ. > rahiy rebbiy yetquddu ayseffeγ seg iḍγaγen imeckenen y ibrahiym. 10qa lbelṭeṯ tella adug iderren n cjer. aḏ kul ccejreṯ witettuc lγelleṯ teṣbiḥt atemmuqdeƹ we atemluweḥ g timsi.
11neči tzizdiyeγ diwem s aman bac atebem, lekenti lliy tadyas beƹdiw yetquddu iṭriw, aḏ neči wistehlexc aqameγ ṣṣebaṭis. netta tafennizizdi s rruwḥ lqudus aḏ timsi. 12rahiy netta iqam meydu g fusis, tayzuzer lliy g ssilγeγis lkul we aylayem irdnis g lmexzen amma sfaf tatyeḥreq s timsi wittetbessiyc.»

13wembeƹd yused yesuwƹ seg ljeliyl al lweḏ n lurdun ireḥ al yaḥya bac ayezizdi af fusis. 14lekinti yaḥya wiyeqqil aḏ yuwayas: «d neči lliy yexs afdeseγ we azizdiyeγ af fusiḵ aḏ cek tusidiḏ.» 15yerras yesuwƹ: «zizdiyiḏ bac aytem lxiyr lliy yexs rebbiy atneg.» yerla yaḥya yeggi mammeḵ yuwayas. 16mniyn izizdi yesuwƹ yeffeγ seg aman, ƹlewleh ujenna imires, yezra rruwḥ n rebbiy izugged aḏ yersa felles am tmella. 17aḏ yemmusel ṣṣut seg ujenna yemmal: «wuh d memmi ḥbibiw lliy freḥeγ siyes lferḥ lkul.»
