PSALM ONE HUNDRED-FORTY-SIX
1O praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. #Psa. 103:1
2While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. #Psa. 104:33
3Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man in whom there is no salvation. #Isa. 2:22
4His breath goes forth; he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. #Eccl. 12:7; 1 Cor. 2:6
5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, #Jer. 17:7
6Who made the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever; #Rev. 14:7
7Who carries out justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord lets the prisoners loose; #Psa. 103:6, 107:9-10
8The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous; #Mat. 9:30; Luke 13:13
9The Lord preserves the strangers; He sustains the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked He turns upside down. #Deut. 10:18; Psa. 68:5, 147:6
10The Lord shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. O praise the Lord! #Ex. 15:18; Psa. 10:10
