PSALM ONE HUNDRED-FIFTEEN
1Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory for Your mercy and for Your truth’s sake. #Isa. 48:11; Ezek. 36:32
2Why should the nations say, “Where now is their God?” #Joel 2:17; Psa. 42:3, 10 79:10
3Our God is in the heavens; He has done whatever He has pleased. #Psa. 135:6; Dan. 4:35; 1 Chr. 16:26
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. #Deut. 4:28; Jer. 10:3; Psa. 135:15
5They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;
6They have ears, but they do not hear; they have noses, but they do not smell;
7They have hands, but they do not handle; they have feet, but they do not walk; they do not make a sound through their throat.
8The ones who make them are like them, and so is everyone who trusts in them. #Isa. 44:9-11; Psa. 135:18
9O Israel, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. #Psa. 33:20, 118:2-3
10O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.
11O you who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.
12The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great. #Psa. 128:1
14The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15May you be blessed of the Lord Who made the heavens and the earth. #Gen. 1:1, 14:19; Psa. 96:5
16The heavens, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.
17The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence. #Isa. 38:18; Psa. 6:5, 88:10-12
