PSALM ONE HUNDRED-FOURTEEN
1When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, #Ex. 13:3; Psa. 81:5
2Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion. #Ex. 6:7; Deut. 27:9
3The sea saw it and fled; Jordan was driven back. #Ex. 14:21; Josh. 3:13
4The mountains skipped like rams and the little hills like lambs. #Psa. 29:6
5What ailed you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back, #Hab. 3:8
6O mountains that you skipped like rams, O little hills like lambs?
7O earth, tremble at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters. #Ex. 17:6; Num. 20:11; Psa. 107:35
