Jeremiah 24
24
CHAPTER 24
1The Lord showed to me, and lo! two panniers full of figs were set before the temple of the Lord, after that Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, translated Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, and the princes of him, and a subtle craftsman, and a goldsmith, from Jerusalem, and brought them into Babylon.
2And one pannier had full good figs, as figs of the first time be wont to be; and one pannier had full evil figs, that might not be eaten, for those [or they] were evil figs.
3And the Lord said to me, Jeremy, what thing seest thou? And I said, Figs, good figs, full good; and evil figs, full evil, that may not be eaten, for those [or they] be evil figs.
4And the word of the Lord was made to me, and said,
5The Lord God of Israel saith these things, As these figs be good, so I shall know the transmigration of Judah, which I sent out from this place into the land of Chaldees, into good.
6And I shall set [or put] mine eyes on them to please, and I shall bring them again into this land; and I shall build them, and I shall not destroy them; and I shall plant them, and I shall not draw up by the root.
7And I shall give to them an heart, that they know me, for I am the Lord; and they shall be into a people to me, and I shall be into God to them, for they shall turn again to me in all their heart.
8And as the worst figs be, that may not be eaten, for those [or they] be evil figs, the Lord saith these things, So I shall give Zedekiah, the king of Judah, and the princes of him, and other men of Jerusalem, that dwell in this city, and that dwell in the land of Egypt.
9And I shall give them into travailing and torment in all realms of earth, into reproof, and into parable, and into a proverb, and into cursing, in all places to which I casted them out.
10And I shall send in them sword, and hunger, and pestilence, till they be wasted from the land which I gave to them, and to the fathers of them.

Jeremià 24
24
Ny aviavy roa sobika
1Ary ny TOMPO naneho tamiko aviavy roa sobika izay voapetraka teo anoloan’ny tempoliny. Taorian’ny nitondran’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjakan’i Babilôna an’i Jekônià, zanakalahin’i Jôiakima sady mpanjakan’i Joda, sy ireo mpifehy an’i Joda mbamin’ireo mpahay taozavatra sy mpanefy vy tao Jerosalema ho babo tany Babilôna no nisehoan’izany. 2Ny sobika voalohany dia nisy aviavy tsara dia tsara toy ny aviavy masaka voalohany. Ny sobika faharoa kosa nisy aviavy ratsy loatra ka tsy azo hanina.
3Dia nanontany ahy ny TOMPO hoe:
–Inona no hitanao, ry Jeremià?
Namaly aho hoe:
–Aviavy: ka ny sasany tsara dia tsara, fa ny sasany kosa ratsy loatra ka tsy azo hanina.
4Ary nisy indray hafatry ny TOMPO tamiko nanao hoe:
5–Izao no lazain’ny TOMPO Andriamanitr’i Israely: Ho tahaka ireto aviavy tsara ireto no hijereko ny Jodeanina voababo izay noroahiko hiala teto amin’ity toerana ity hankany Babilônia. 6Fa hojereko am-pitiavana izy ka hampodîko amin’ity tany ity. Haoriko indray izy ka tsy horavako intsony, hamboleko indray ka tsy hongotako intsony. 7Homeko azy ny fo miaiky fa Izaho no TOMPO. Hiverina amiko amin’ny fony manontolo ireo; ka ho vahoakako izy, ary Izaho kosa ho Andriamaniny.
8Fa ny amin’i Tsedekià mpanjakan’i Joda sy ny manamboninahiny mbamin’ireo mponina sisa tavela ao Jerosalema ary koa ireo olona tsy niala teo amin’ity tany ity sy ireo lasa nipetraka tany Ejipta, dia izao no lazain’ny TOMPO: Hataoko toy ny aviavy ratsy izay tsy azo hanina noho ny haratsiny izy.
