87
A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song.
1His foundation is in the holy mountains. # Isa 28:16
2The Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.
3Glorious things are spoken of you,
O city of God. # Ps 46:4 Selah.
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon
to those who know Me;
behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush: # Ps 45:12; 68:31
“This one was born there.”
5And of Zion it shall be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,”
for the Most High Himself will establish her.
6The Lord will record when He registers the peoples, # Isa 4:3; Eze 13:9
“This one was born there.” Selah
7The singers and the players of instruments say,
“All my springs are in you.” # Ps 36:9; Isa 12:3
