Leviticus 7:31

How do we grow both in spiritual stature in favour with the LORD and with people? In this 10-Day Plan, we are taking a gospel view of I Samuel 2:12-26 to reflect on how this passage gives us a picture of Christ our Saviour, who delivers us from our defilement of sin, and who makes possible our growth into spiritual maturity and stature. This study is adapted, with his permission, from a sermon preached by Rev. John Musyimi at North Point Baptist Church in Nairobi, Kenya, on January 25th, 2026.

We often associate the word stewardship with money. While it’s true that we’re called to be good stewards of our finances, stewardship certainly doesn’t end with our bank accounts. In this plan, you’ll be challenged to consider the connection between stewardship and commitment, and you’ll be inspired to elevate your relationship with God to the top of your priority list. Each day’s reading includes a brief Scripture passage and relevant devotional.

Although often overlooked and ignored, the book of Leviticus is filled with God's gracious and merciful provisions for his people. Through sacrifice and ritual, God enabled his sinful people to dwell in his holy presence.

In the beginning was the Word … but what came next? This plan is for anyone who wants a better understanding of the Bible. It provides a chronological reading program that endeavors to place all biblical passages in their date order. Part Two of this twelve-part one-year reading plan is titled 'Forty Years in the Wilderness, 1491 BC–1452 BC'.
