not forsaking our assembling together,* as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and so much more as you see the Day drawing near.

And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and to good works

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for faithful is the One who promised.

For you have need of endurance, so that after doing the will of God, you may receive the promise.

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

So then, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.

For if we deliberately continue to sin after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and a blaze of fire that will devour the adversaries.
