Therefore, based on My authority, go and make disciples of all the nations of the world, not just Israel. Baptise them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit—bringing them into relationship with the Triune God. Teach these new disciples to observe and obey everything I have commanded you throughout My ministry. And behold, I am with you always, every single day, until the end of the age when I return and history is consummated."

Jesus came near and spoke to them with words of ultimate authority, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been granted to Me by the Father—I possess absolute sovereignty over all creation.

But the angel spoke to the women, saying, "Do not be afraid. I know that you are seeking Jesus, the One who was crucified. He is not here in this tomb, for He has been raised from the dead, just as He told you He would be. Come here and see the place where He was lying. The tomb is empty."

Then Jesus said to them reassuringly, "Do not be afraid. Go and take this message to My brothers—tell them to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me as I promised."

After the chief priests had assembled with the elders and consulted together about how to respond to this crisis, they gave a substantial sum of money to the soldiers as a bribe. They instructed the soldiers, "You must say this: 'His disciples came during the night while we were sleeping and stole His body away.' And if this report reaches the governor's ears and he questions you about sleeping on duty, we will satisfy him with our explanation and keep you out of trouble. You will not be punished." So the soldiers took the money and did exactly as they had been instructed. This fabricated story has been spread among the Jewish people and circulated to this very day.
