As for the seed that fell on good soil—these are the ones who, upon hearing the word with a noble and good heart, hold fast to it firmly. They bear fruit through perseverance and patient endurance."

As for what fell among the thorns—these are the ones who hear the word, but as they go along through life, they are choked by the cares, riches, and pleasures of this life. They do not bring fruit to maturity.

Those on the rocky ground are the ones who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy and enthusiasm. But these people have no root. They believe for a while, but in a time of testing and trial, they fall away.

Jesus said to His disciples, "Where is your faith?" But they were afraid and filled with awe, saying to one another, "Who then is this man, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?"

Those along the pathway are the ones who hear the word, but then the devil comes and snatches away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

For nothing is concealed that will not eventually become manifest. Nothing is kept secret that will not be brought to light.

When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling. She fell down before Him and declared before all the people why she had touched Him and how she had been immediately healed. Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace."

The disciples came to Jesus and woke Him urgently, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Jesus awoke, rebuked the wind and the raging water, and they ceased. There was a great calm.
