We learn everything about God we need to know by slowing WAY down to consider WHAT Jesus actually said and did, WHO He said and did it to, and WHAT the impact of His words and actions had on people. When we let our pursuit of Jesus guide our understanding of God and His story, we are transformed by what we discover.

“Mooring” a nautical term, refers to an anchor to which a ship is secured to prevent it from being carried away by the waves. Mooring serves as a primer for our soul’s contemplation. As you ponder over these reflections, may God reveal His eternal truths and perspective to you so that Christ remains as the anchor in your life.

As human beings in general and as Christians in particular, we are accountable at various levels, to God, our families, our friends, our bosses and our teams at our places of work. Human nature in itself does not relish accountability. Accountability to God is the fundamental thing that is the enabler for all other levels of accountability.
