In Formula 1 race car driving, there is a position called the pole position. A driver in pole position starts the race in the first row of the inside lane. They start the race at the front of the pack and don’t have to fight to get to first place and be in the lead. As a driver in pole position, you’re setting yourself up for a win.

We are going to learn about positioning yourself in God’s Word. It’s what you’re doing right now!

There are lots of places we could position ourselves. If we position ourselves to be practicing playing a musical instrument, we will improve and get much better at it. If we position ourselves at church, we’ll learn more about God and make some great friends. If we misbehave at school, we might be positioning ourselves in detention! Where do you position yourself? If we position ourselves in God’s Word, we’ll be on track to follow Him in our lives.
