A close and personal relationship with Jesus can seem like a mountain to climb, but we can take steps, one by one, to draw near to Him.

These are some of the steps!

One is to read God’s Word, the Bible. The Bible says ALL scripture is God-breathed.

Another is prayer. The Bible says we grow closer to God through prayer. We can get to know God through His Spirit in prayer.

Do you have a best friend? Think about how you feel when you get to spend time with them. You look forward to it, enjoy every moment, and don’t want to leave when it is time to go home.

This is how God has designed us to be in relationship with Him. God wants to draw near to you. He loves you with all His heart. That is why He sent His son, Jesus, to save you so He can spend all of eternity with you. He never gets tired of you. He never wants space. He thinks you are amazing! Through Jesus, we can draw near to God.
