I've Got the Blues: Devotions From Time of Grace MinistryHalimbawa

WHOM ARE WE WORSHIPING?: IMMANUEL - GOD WITH US
Does it ever bother you that you are invited to worship a God that you can't see? If there really is a divine Maker of this world, why doesn't He hang around to let us get to know Him? God's seeming absence from this planet has led some to fear that we are all alone here and that there is nobody and nothing greater than man.
Ah, but that's not so. The Bible says that "in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form" (Colossians 2:9). Think of it – God Himself actually took on human flesh and entered our lives. The prophet Isaiah says that the child born through a wondrous virgin birth should be called "Immanuel," which in Hebrew means "God is with us."
Next time you feel isolated and alone, fearful that nobody is listening when you pray, just whisper, "Immanuel!" That will help you remember, "God, you are right here with us!"
