HEAVEN IS WAITING: WE WILL BE LIKE JESUS

Have you ever noticed that your praying tapers off when you have a guilty conscience? Guilt makes us slink away from God's presence instead of running to meet Him.

One of the greatest things about life in heaven someday is that we will be pure and sinless forever. Never again will we hurt or disappoint our heavenly Father. Never again will we feel shame and guilt.

The Bible says in 1 John 3:2, "What we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when [Jesus] appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." You know what? I can't wait to be like Jesus. I am thrilled that my physical body will be restored from all its damage and imperfections. I am even more excited that my heart and soul and mind will be as pure as Jesus' also.

In heaven I will never hurt anybody again. In heaven I will never hurt my God again.
