Personal Time with God // Section 1: Praying
Anxiety often comes from a lack of prayer. The author here contrasts prayer with anxiety. Putting the ultimate result of the situation on God, after doing all we can do, will bring us peace because in the end God needs to come through or we’re in trouble. We do our part and leave the rest up to God. This is obviously easier said than done. Really, it's just a discipline that takes time to learn: trusting God and believing that He will do what He said He will do. This is a HUGE part of prayer.
Practical Steps: If you’re experiencing anxiety, try asking God for what you need, explaining why you need it in light of His Word, and then thanking Him for all He’s done in the past, confident He will come through.
