Blessing For TodaySample

The Name of Jesus 

Today is the first day of the month. I pray that this month will be a blessing to you. Morning time is usually the busiest time of the day. Almost everyone rush to their office every morning. I remember an incident that happened in my life. I was once driving my car at a tremendous speed. And I was caught by a policeman for speeding; he stopped me and referred me to the Inspector of Police who was standing on the other side of the road. I got down from my car and walked up to the Inspector who was bending down over a register and wrting something on it. Without looking up he asked me, “Who are you? Where do you come from?” I replied rather sheepishly saying, “My name is Paul Dhinakaran.” A little surprised and shocked, the Inspector looked up and asked me, “Are you the son of Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran?” I said “Yes”. He then calmly told me, “This is a 30 km speed limit area. Don’t drive so fast hereafter. You may go!” I was amazed that he let me off lightly because of my dad’s name. 

See, what a narrow escape I had because of my father’s name! Beloved, if the name of an earthly father has so much authority, then how much more authority and power is in the name of our heavenly Father, “Jesus”! Whatever problem you may face today, utter the name of Jesus. Every mountain will move aside. You will have a miraculous deliverance! 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You because I am Your child. I thank You for the authority bestowed on me to use Your name “Jesus”. I know that the name of Jesus is more powerful than any name on this earth. I come against every problem in the name of Jesus and command it to be removed out of my life, Amen.”
