May our hearts overflow with praise for the victory God has given us in Christ. Christ rose from the dead, He was triumphant over death. Therefore we also will be triumphant over death. That is the victory! May our lives abound in praise to God for giving us this great victory! Knowing that because of Christ we will be triumphant over death, we should be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord. The gospel gives us the motivation to stay the course and do the work of the Lord.

If you find yourself weary, burned out, not seeing fruit of your labor or any host of other thoughts and feelings that come from doing the work of the Lord, know this and cling to this promise: in the Lord your labor is not in vain! What a great promise it is that if we are doing the Lord’s work it is not in vain. Hold fast to that promise and continue in your work of the Lord!
