So Be ItSample

The Lord had promised a personal visit to Elijah, but it came in the gentle whisper of an understanding voice. Learning how to listen for his still, small voice is a special part of praying. Jesus promised, “his sheep…know his voice” (John 10.4). Ask Him to help you hear Him as He speaks to your heart.
Gracious Shepherd, teach me to recognize Your voice in the midst of the clamor and distractions of a loud and demanding world. Thank You, for the promise of Your Spirit in me to counsel and comfort as I seek to follow You. Open my eyes and ears to see and hear what You have for me today. Savior, like a shepherd lead me. Amen.
