Worshipping inspires our everyday speech
Jesus, I thank you for your body, the Church. I pray for my own church fellowship, asking that it may help shape us for the whole of life.
The words of our worship shape us to speak in the world. Together we learn a language that gives us a bigger sense of who God is and how he is involved with our everyday lives. We learn a vocabulary through the songs, prayers and set responses of Sunday worship that enables us to speak to God and other people in all the varied circumstances of Monday to Saturday life.
