Looking Ahead.

There is always hope for the believer. Jesus is our Hope of Glory; therefore, we are assured of better days to come. Glorious days ahead. Lay aside the weights you’re carrying, the guilt, offence or the things we take pride in. Fix your gaze on the beautiful days God has planned for you. Trust in the One who created you that He has the best intentions for you. Though you may have had a rough start, the days of rejoicing will come.

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT - For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”.

It’s important to remember we are Heaven-Bound. Once you are saved, you are a citizen of Heaven (Philippians 3:20). This is a reason to rejoice. We know that the hardship we face on earth will not be forever. So rejoice in the midst of the storm, because you know the storms won’t last forever. Trust that God will preserve you. Look unto Jesus, the One who keeps you in His perfect peace. Look ahead, for better days are coming.

2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT - “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever”.
