The Help Within—Becoming A Marvel

There is help around you, and then there is help within you.

People can support, advise, encourage, and open doors for us, but there is a dimension of help that works from the inside out. This is the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised His disciples that the Father would send “another advocate” to help them and be with them forever (John 14:16).

The Holy Spirit is not just external assistance. He is the indwelling Helper who guides, strengthens, corrects, comforts, and transforms us. He secures our eternity, leads us into truth, and reminds us that we are not abandoned servants but beloved sons and daughters of God.

Many believers struggle because they look everywhere for help while ignoring the Helper within. Yet the Spirit of God is the one who makes ordinary people become wonders. He turns rejected stones into cornerstones. He takes the weak, available, and surrendered, and makes their lives a testimony of God’s marvelous work. Through the Help within, we transform and become helpers to others on the outside.

However, to enjoy this help, we must acknowledge Him, prioritize His voice, yield to His leading, and refuse to grieve Him. The Holy Spirit is not trying to control us harshly. He is helping us become who God created us to be.

When the Help within has His way, your life becomes marvelous in God’s sight. The Holy Spirit is our Help within at all times.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Helper within. Teach me to recognize Your voice, yield to Your leading, and depend on You completely. Forgive me for ignoring or resisting You. Work in me until my life becomes a testimony of God’s marvelous help. In Jesus’ name, amen.
