When God Seems LateSample

When Everything Seems Lost – Day 6
The darkest moment in Lazarus’s story was the tomb—but that’s where God’s voice sounded the loudest.
“When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.”
(John 11:43–44, NIV)
When everyone thought it was over, Jesus spoke—and death surrendered.
Abraham experienced the same on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22): when it looked like he would lose his son, God provided a ram. And at the cross, when the disciples thought it was the end, the third day proved that the end was not death but life.
In practice, it’s like seeing a closed door and realizing God was preparing an exit you couldn’t see. Where you see an “end,” He sees an opportunity to reveal His glory.
Talk with God and open your heart:
Lord, when everything seems lost, help me believe that You’re still in control. Show me that Your ways always lead to life. Amen.
Think about this:
• What part of your life seems finished but God might be about to resurrect?
• Can you trust that even in the darkest moments, the voice of Jesus still has the power to bring life?
End of the plan: When God Seems Late — but He’s Always on Time.
There are no delays in God’s clock. Everything you’re waiting for has a purpose. Keep believing: when it seems late, He’s just getting started.
About this Plan

Sometimes we pray, trust, and wait… but God seems to remain silent. However, His silence is not absence. This plan, based on the story of Lazarus and other passages in Scripture, will show you that God is never late—His delays are part of His purpose. Learn to recognize His voice in the silence, His hand in the waiting, and His power in the process.
