Unmasked — Rediscovering Your True Identity in ChristSample

When You Feel the Need to Hide
Have you ever found yourself trying to hide something—not just from others, but from God? Maybe it’s a mistake, a habit you can’t shake, a moment you regret, or a part of yourself you’re afraid someone might see.
This isn’t new.
When Adam and Eve sinned, their first response was to hide and cover themselves with fig leaves. They didn’t run to God—they hid from Him. They tried to fix themselves. We do it too. We hide behind success, humor, spirituality, or “I’m fine.” We scroll, we distract ourselves, we stay busy—anything to avoid being truly seen.
But notice God’s response: He came looking for them.
Not angry. Not surprised.
As a loving Father, He simply asked, “Where are you?”
That question is still echoing today—not to expose you, but to restore you, spiritually.
God already knows where you are… He’s inviting you to step out of hiding so He can walk with you again as you fellowship with Him.
Reflection:
Where might you be hiding from God right now?
Prayer:
Lord, I hear Your voice calling. Give me the courage to step out of hiding and trust Your love.
Hope Declaration:
I don’t have to hide. God is drawing me back to Him.

About this Plan

We were never created to hide from God. Yet from the moment shame entered the world, we’ve been sewing our own “fig leaves” — masking our struggles with busyness, confidence, and curated perfection. Unmasked is a three-day journey back to the One who calls us out of hiding and into becoming. Discover how Christ removes shame, restores identity, and leads us to live openly, loved, and whole.
