A Spirit-Filled LifeSample

The Woman at the Well
The Samaritan woman came to the well at noon, when the sun was hottest and the crowds were gone. Shame had driven her into isolation. Yet that’s where she met Jesus.
He spoke to her about water, but not just physical water. He offered living water that would satisfy her deepest thirst. This wasn’t about a drink; it was about transformation. The same Jesus who knew her failures also offered her hope. He didn’t demand she fix herself before coming to Him, He met her right where she was and invited her into life.
We, too, carry hidden thirsts, longings for love, belonging, purpose. We try to satisfy them with relationships, success, or control, only to come up dry again. Jesus says: “Whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst.” The offer still stands.
Reflection Question:
What “wells” have you been drinking from that leave you thirsty? What would it look like to receive Jesus’ living water instead?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
