The triune Godhead is not an easy concept to understand. The fact that One God exists as three separate persons, yet is still one God, is miraculous and amazing. However, the Trinity is a fact that we see throughout Scripture, and believing Scripture is vitally important for the Christian.
Matthew 3:16-17 mentions all three persons of the Godhead in the same passage. God the Son (Jesus) was being baptized in the river, while God the Spirit came upon Him as a dove, and God the Father spoke to Him.
Matthew 28:19 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” The concept of the Trinity is something God wants us to believe and teach to others regularly.
