How does God use preaching to build our faith?
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes “by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Preaching is God’s chosen way to proclaim truth, challenge sin, and strengthen hearts. It’s God’s method for growing His people.
When you hear the Word preached, the Holy Spirit uses it to convict, encourage, and guide you. Listening with an open heart prepares you to act on what you’ve heard.
Don’t let sermons go in one ear and out the other. Take notes, reflect, and ask God to help you apply what you hear. Each message you listen to is an opportunity for your faith to grow stronger.
Go to a church where you will hear the Word of God preached!
