Back to the Basics 365Sample

God desires for every believer to continue growing in their relationship with Him
Why does God want believers to keep growing?
2 Peter 3:18 urges us to “… grow in grace.” Growth is not optional for the believer. It’s God’s design. Just as a child must grow to maturity, every Christian is called to grow in faith, character, and understanding of God’s Word. God doesn't want you to be a baby Christian for the rest of your life!
Spiritual growth doesn’t happen overnight. And it doesn’t happen without effort. It takes time, discipline, and a heart that’s open to God’s guidance. As we grow, we learn to rely less on ourselves and more on the strength and wisdom of the Lord.
Don’t settle for where you are. Keep taking steps forward in your relationship with God. Pray, study, and stay faithful in your walk with Christ. God delights in seeing His children grow closer to Him each day!
