IT IS GOD'S WILL
If there is one thing every child of God should hold in common, it is the desire to do the will of God. This singular pursuit is what distinguishes a believer from an unbeliever. God has given every human the power of choice, but the one who has heaven in view understands that their choices must align with God’s will, not personal preference.
Ephesians 4:32 instructs us to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving. This clearly shows that forgiveness is part of God’s will for every one of His children. Just as God forgave you and graciously brought you into His family, He expects you to extend that same grace to others — freely, consistently, and wholeheartedly. Living in God’s will means living a life marked by forgiveness.
Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is the lifestyle of a true believer. This means a believer does not wait for an apology before forgiving, because they understand they have been called to a higher life — a life that sees situations from God’s perspective. Regardless of how painful the offense may be, you forgive because God asks you to. So don’t dwell on the hurt. Don’t magnify the pain. Don’t replay the damage.
Keep your focus on God and on the eternal reward that follows obedience (Matthew 18:21–22).
Always remember: IT IS GOD'S WILL.
