Every Day Relationship - 21 Days

DAY 13 OF 21

DAY 13: Obstacles to Community

REFLECT
Take a moment to consider which of these obstacles—misunderstanding the Bible, feeling weak, or a concern about burdening others—most often keeps you from engaging deeply in community. Reflect on how God might be inviting you to move past these barriers so you can experience the fullness of life and healing He intends through authentic relationships.

ACTION
This week, identify one area where you need support—whether it’s prayer, encouragement, or practical help. Reach out to a trusted friend or member of your community and share your need. Allow them the opportunity to walk alongside you. At the same time, look for someone in your circle who may need support and offer to be there for them. Remember, community is a two-way street: both giving and receiving help are essential to spiritual growth.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for designing me to live in community. Help me to recognize and overcome the obstacles that keep me from reaching out and being vulnerable with others. Give me the humility to ask for help when I need it, and the compassion to support those around me. Teach me to trust that You will work through Your people to meet my needs. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
