A Thrill of HopeSample

Yesterday we looked at all the ways in which we could be thankful in 2025. Today, we want to think specifically about who God is. The beautiful thing about God’s character is that every time we get a chance to learn more of who He is, we realise there is all new depth available for us to learn. Today’s reading shows us that with great specificity we can lean into who He is, and who He has always been.
“All that is within me, bless his holy name” (Psalm 103:1, ESV) What a beautiful goal this is. We get to bless God with all that we have by praising His holy name. Some days this is easier said than done, but what is amazing about re-posturing our heart toward Him, is that He never changes. No matter what is going on in our lives God is the same - yesterday, today and forever.
Today, ponder this: Spend some time today, making a list of how you see God, just like the psalmist has done in Psalm 103. What are God’s characteristics that you cherish, and how have you seen them play out in your life, and throughout history?
