The shepherds, after seeing the Christ child, immediately went and spread the word about what they had seen and heard, "glorifying and praising God." Their response was not intellectual agreement, but immediate, active worship. Their awe moved them to action. Our celebration of Christmas should produce the same overflow of praise.
