The Pursuit - 12 WeeksSample

In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul reminds us that love is the foundation of every healthy Christian community. Spiritual gifts, impressive knowledge, passionate faith—all of it means nothing if love isn’t present. The church in Corinth had energy and talent, but they were missing what mattered most: genuine love for one another.
Christian growth doesn’t happen in isolation. God designed His people to live out faith together, learning to practice the kind of love Paul describes: patient and kind, not proud or self-seeking, quick to forgive, slow to keep score. This kind of love turns a collection of individuals into a true community—a place where people can belong, grow, and serve.
When you show up for church, small group, or a friend in need, you’re not just “attending.” You’re choosing to embody this kind of love—to encourage, to listen, to forgive, to celebrate. Every act of love strengthens the body of Christ and reminds the world of who He is.
Reflection:
How can you show 1 Corinthians 13–style love to someone in your church or small group this week?
