The Pursuit - 12 WeeksSample

The Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation. Paul tells the church in Galatians 6:2, “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” Christianity is a team sport, not a solo mission.
Why? Because we all stumble. We all face moments of weakness. And when we do, God has designed the church to step in — not to condemn, but to restore “gently and humbly” (v. 1). That’s the beauty of spiritual family. You don’t have to carry your struggles alone.
But this only works if you’re connected. Too many believers treat church as a weekly event instead of a family. They slip in, listen to a sermon, and leave without engaging in community. That’s like trying to play on a team without ever showing up for practice.
Victory in the Christian life comes when you lean on others and let them lean on you. Baptism identifies you with Christ, but it also identifies you with his body — the church. You need them, and they need you.
Reflection:
Who in your life helps carry your burdens and keep you accountable in your walk with God?
