Day 13: Zechariah and Elizabeth: Hope Revived — Luke 1:5–17

🌿 What would you do if an angel appeared to you and said that you and your ‘past child-bearing age’ wife would have a son—one who would prepare the way for the Savior of the world? Zechariah was left speechless, quite literally!

Israel had waited 400 years for a word from God. After centuries of silence, God sent Gabriel to announce that hope was being reborn—not only for Zechariah and Elizabeth, but for all humanity. Their son, John the Baptist, would proclaim the coming of Jesus, the long-awaited Messiah.

God loves to bring hope out of hopelessness. No matter how long you’ve waited, His timing is always perfect. Hope may be delayed, but it is never denied when it’s rooted in God.
