Whole Bible in 11 Months: Chronologically ThematicSample

Starting with Genesis 1, this Plan moves chronologically through the Bible—but when a weighty person, place, or theme is mentioned, other parts of Scripture come alongside to go more in depth on that topic. So there are both Old Testament and New Testament passages throughout, relating to each other either chronologically or thematically. Each chapter appears only once in the Plan, and the whole Bible is included.
For most of the Plan you’ll read four chapters per day. Toward the end, it tapers to three per day, then two.
There is something to be learned or a way to grow closer to God through every chapter of the Bible. So every day, as you start reading, ask God to open your eyes so you can “see wonderful things” in His Word (Psalm 119:18 NIV). Read with curiosity and a listening heart open to the Holy Spirit.
Let’s get going! Look for a mention of Adam in today’s Romans passage.
What do you learn? Talk it through with God. Ask Him your questions, and listen to what He’s saying to you through His Word and His Spirit.
