I'm New! What Do I Do?Sample

You Can Be a Witness
Sharing Your Story
Today, we examine the final principle that changed Paul’s life: You can be a witness.
Take a moment to remember the day you gave God all of your heart and life. What were you like before that day? How has your life changed since then? The answers to these questions make up your testimony. A testimony is simply what God has done in your life. It can be shared in just a few sentences.
When you share your testimony with others, you are being a witness for Jesus. You may have heard someone share their testimony with you before you became a Christian. At that time, you may not have realized it, but they were being a witness that helped guide you to salvation. God wants you to do the same for others.
Boldness Comes From God
Sharing your story may feel intimidating—fear of speaking, fear of rejection, or not knowing what to say. Don’t be afraid! God is with you. He will give you the boldness and the words to share your story so He can lead others to salvation.
People around you who are lost and headed for Hell need to hear the good news about Jesus. They need to hear so they can receive Him and turn toward Heaven! You can be God’s witness by simply sharing your testimony and letting Him work through you.
Prayer
Identify people you know who need to hear the good news about Jesus. Pray that God will provide opportunities for you to share your testimony with them. Ask Him to give you boldness and wisdom as you speak.
