Surrounded: Living With Confidence in God’s ProtectionSample

Reading: 2 Peter 3:8–15
Devotional:
God is patient with us, not because He overlooks sin, but because He desires transformation. His patience gives us space to grow.
We live in an instant world, but God works on an eternal timeline. He’s not slow to keep His promises; He’s deliberate in shaping our hearts. The same grace that’s been extended to you is the grace you’re called to extend to others.
Reflect on how far you’ve come in your walk with God. Where has His patience carried you? Who might need that same grace from you today?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being patient with me. You’ve loved me through every failure and refined me through every season. Help me to show that same patience to others. Grow me in grace, maturity, and compassion, that I might reflect Your heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Application:
Think of someone who’s still growing in faith. Instead of correcting them harshly, choose to pray for them and encourage them. Be the kind of example that inspires patience and grace.
