The father didn’t wait for the son to finish his confession—he ran, embraced, and kissed him. God’s forgiveness is like that: quick, complete, overflowing. Divine forgiveness is not measured; it’s poured out on those who return in humility.

To be forgiven is not only to have the past erased but also to be restored as a child. The Father’s forgiveness gives us back our dignity.
