Finding Freedom in JesusSample

Transformation.
Day 1 – Becoming Who You Were Made to Be
Reflection:
Transformation isn’t instant—it’s a Spirit-led process. All of us wrestle with old patterns of fear, shame, and negative self-talk. But the Spirit patiently reshapes us, forming new ways of thinking rooted in Jesus. This change isn’t just about feeling different; it’s about renewing our minds so that our thoughts and actions align with Christ. Just like Abraham moved from doubt to faith and Peter from denial to boldness, you are being changed day by day. You don’t have to remain who you were yesterday—you are becoming who Christ says you are.
Action Steps:
1. Write down one lie you’ve believed about yourself, then replace it with a truth from Scripture like: “I am chosen. I am loved. I belong to God.” Close with this prayer: “Holy Spirit, transform my mind and help me believe what You say is true.”
2. As part of your prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to “transform my mind and help me believe what You say is true.”
In the devotional, Finding Freedom in Jesus, you’ll practice this step by step—replacing lies with truth until your thought patterns begin to shift. Through 21 truths about your identity in Christ, you’ll learn how to walk with new confidence and freedom.
