Hidden Treasure in Dark Places: Heartbreak & Hope

DAY 5 OF 6

He Called Your Name

When Jesus arrived at Lazarus’s tomb, He did something remarkable. “He cried with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come forth!’ And he who had died came out…” — John 11:43–44

Can you imagine that moment? What was dead responded to His voice. What was sealed away had to open. When Jesus speaks, even the grave must give way to life.

Friend, He’s calling your name, too. That part of you that’s been buried under pain, disappointment, or fear, it’s not forgotten. He’s saying, “Come forth.” Come out of the darkness. Step into healing. Step into freedom.

The same power that raised Lazarus from the dead lives in you. Your story isn’t over. What you thought was finished is simply waiting for His word to awaken it.

You’ve walked through grief. You’ve waited in the silence. Now, it’s time to rise.

Resurrection is not just an event...it’s a person. And His name is Jesus.

Reflection:
What part of your life is Jesus calling out of the tomb today? What would it look like to respond to His invitation to live again?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for calling my name even when I felt buried in darkness. I’m ready to come forth: to live, to love, and to walk in the new life You’ve promised. Awaken hope in me again and let Your resurrection power breathe life into every broken place. Amen.
