14 Days of BreakthroughSample

Breakthrough doesn’t always come through striving but instead it often comes through resting in Jesus. Matthew 11:28-29 is an invitation to lay down our burdens and trust Him to carry what we cannot. Rest is not inactivity; it is a deliberate act of faith, trusting God to work in ways we cannot see or control.
When we rest, we acknowledge that God is in control, that He fights for us, and that His timing and wisdom are perfect. Just as a device needs to recharge, our souls need to pause, reflect, and draw strength from His presence. Breakthrough flows when we surrender our striving, lean into His promises, and allow Him to act on our behalf.
Today, take a moment to rest physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Come to Jesus with your burdens, sit at His feet, and allow His peace to renew and empower you. Resting in Him prepares your heart and mind to receive the breakthrough He has promised. What area of your life do you need to surrender to Jesus and rest in today?
Lord, help me to rest in You today. Teach me to trust You with my burdens and to rely on Your strength and timing for breakthrough in my life.
