Abba, my merciful Father, it seems there is so much tragedy, pain, and suffering.
I know I can pray for and comfort some while supporting others, but most importantly, I can trust that this is not the plan You desire for Your creation, and this is not the way Your creation will end.
I praise You that Your Son, Jesus, is my Lord. He died for me. He is coming again and will renew all things.
Until then, help me set my sights and hope on the coming new heaven and a new earth, give me Your peace during these storms, and guide me to use this day to glorify You, for surely You are with me always.
