Great Is Your FaithfulnessSample

God is a faithful God.
"Jesus Christ--the same yesterday and today and forever." Perhaps this is a phrase you've heard repeated by the preacher in the pulpit, or in a favorite worship song. But did you know that this is from the divine Scriptures? The writer of Hebrews wrote what became the final chapter of this letter, which reads more like a sermon, to a community or collective of believers undergoing some serious persecution for their faith. How did he encourage them to remain faithful in the midst of such trials and tribulations? The writer reminded these soldiering saints to clinch with tightened fists to the finishing work of Jesus Christ. He expected them to remain faithful. How could they do that? Because of Who they were following! The closing remarks of his strong and salty epistle set the record straight: we must remain faithful...because God is faithful.
...we must remain faithful...because God is faithful.
It's likely you have had the same experience I have on the daily. Your phone rings, interrupting your work pace, your prayer time, or time with your family, only for you to discover--it's just another spam call! And while you may not take the call, you recognize that, once again, someone who means you harm is invading the valuable and irreplaceable minutes of your day. Here's yet another person or robot who is claiming to be something or someone they are not.
Scammers are everywhere and their #1 goal is to rob you of your time, money, and identity. But what we have in Jesus Christ is the real deal! How can we know this?
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. His track record is flawless. Throughout all of time, God's faithfulness has been documented and declared by human beings just like you and me.
