Day 24 – Psalm 111 – Great Are the Works of the Lord

It’s easy to get caught up in daily routines and overlook the incredible ways God works in our lives. Psalm 111 reminds us to notice, celebrate, and remember God’s mighty deeds. From the intricacies of creation to answered prayers, God’s faithfulness is everywhere—if we slow down and pay attention. Recognizing His work strengthens faith, inspires gratitude, and encourages us to trust Him in new challenges.

In everyday life, this means practicing awareness. Pause to notice God’s provision: a kind word from a friend, a moment of peace during chaos, or a breakthrough after persistent effort. James 1:17 reminds us that every good gift comes from above, and Isaiah 26:3 encourages us to experience perfect peace when our minds remain steadfast in Him. When we intentionally notice God’s works, our hearts naturally overflow with praise, and our perspective shifts from scarcity to abundance.

Acknowledging God’s deeds also motivates us to respond. Worship, prayer, and service become natural expressions of gratitude. We can share stories of God’s faithfulness with others, encourage those who struggle, and live in a way that reflects His goodness. Even ordinary actions—offering help to a neighbor, listening attentively to a friend, or working diligently—become acts of worship when done in alignment with God’s purposes.

Remembering God’s works also builds resilience. When trials arise, recalling His past faithfulness reminds us that He can be trusted again. Life’s uncertainties are less intimidating when anchored in the reality of God’s ongoing care. Our joy and peace increase, and our witness becomes more compelling.

Prayer:

Lord, help me see and remember Your mighty works today. Open my eyes to Your presence in every blessing, every answered prayer, and every small act of grace around me. Teach me to respond with praise, service, and faith-filled action. Strengthen my trust in Your plan, even when life feels uncertain. May my life reflect Your goodness, and may I inspire others to recognize and celebrate Your faithfulness. Amen.
