Kingdom Resource Generation

There is no doubt from the scriptures that the natural state of God's creation is one of flourishing and expansion (prosperity). We understand that there are things that have and do disrupt this reality both in the greater cosmos and also within the lives of people.

Because some people have mishandled the truth of prosperity in the body of Christ in the past does not mean that we should cast it away. Godly prosperity is an aspect of God's character and goodness towards his children.

A quick word study in Genesis 1:27-28:
-The root word for fruitful is (parah), which means "to bear fruit," "to be fruitful," or "to grow."
-The root word for multiply is (ravah), which means "to multiply," "to increase," or "to become many."

The application here for us is that as we engage in our careers or our businesses we should have a disposition of growing and increasing whatever is in our hands, including resources. The ultimate purpose for our finances is of course the expansion of God's kingdom in the earth as we read in Deuteronomy 8.

Whilst some of us will be anointed in this grace of resource generation more than others as part of our marketplace callings, we have all as sons and daughters of God been brought into this wonderful grace of prosperity and fruitfulness.

I invite you to join me in a prayer today around resource generation:

Father,

I thank You that You are so good to me in every season of my life. You have made it clear that your disposition towards me is to prosper me in your purposes and plans. Thank you for the ability to be industrious and to be wise with finances, thank you for the capacity to operate as a steward of your kingdom's wealth. Holy Spirit I yield to your leadership in this area as you show me where and how to release, invest, and distribute the kingdom wealth you entrust in my hands. I love you and thank you for this kingdom calling in and to the marketplace in Jesus' name.
