The WheelSample

Day 2 – A Small Wheel, a Big Vehicle
Devotional:
A truck is massive. The wheel may look small, but it decides where dozens of tons of steel and freight are headed. The same is true of your life: small choices, small words, small actions can have huge consequences. Your tongue is a good example – a small part of the body that can build or break entire relationships.
James compares the tongue to a rudder on a ship: small, yet it determines the course. In the same way, the “wheel” of your heart is important. What sets your direction? Anger, pride, fear… or do you allow God’s Spirit to influence your choices?
A wheel only works properly when it is connected to the right power source – for us, that is the Holy Spirit. Only then can we stay on course, even against the wind.
Prayer of the Day:
Holy Spirit, teach me to be mindful of my words and actions. Help me to realize that even small choices have a big impact. I don’t want to decide my own way, but to be led by You. Take the wheel of my heart into Your hands. Amen.
About this Plan

Day after day, we take hold of the wheel of a truck—and of life itself. The wheel sets the direction, the course, the destination. But who truly holds that wheel? In this reading plan, we’ll explore what it means to hand over the steering wheel of our lives to God. What happens when we release control and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us? Just as a small wheel can move a massive vehicle, God’s leading can set our lives on course—safe, purposeful, and in peace.
