Affirmations for SinglesSample

Day 8
Affirmation: I am forgiven, so I can forgive others.
There is no sin too ugly for God to forgive. No past too messy. No mistake is too deep. When you bring it to Him, He does not shame you. He cleanses you. Forgiveness is not earned. It is received.
Let’s be real. Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself. The inner me becomes the enemy. But if God is not holding your past against you, why are you still carrying it around?
Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for staying too long. For ignoring red flags. For not knowing better back then. Forgive yourself for the relationships that drained you and the decisions that disappointed you. Every fall brought you closer to God’s grace. Every stumble built your strength. You are not the same person anymore. You have grown.
Now forgive them too. The ones who lied on you. The ones who walked away. The ones who mishandled you. Forgive the people who misjudged you, misused you, and tried to minimize your worth. Be like Joseph. His own brothers sold him into slavery because they were jealous of his dream. And yet, when Joseph rose to power, he forgave them. He blessed the very people who tried to break him.
You have been repackaged and reinvented. God is about to reintroduce you. You are not walking into this next season bitter. You are walking in bold forgiveness, healed and whole.
Live like you are forgiven. Because you are!
Today’s Assignment
Write down the name of someone you need to forgive, even if that someone is you. Pray over it and release it to God. Then declare out loud, "I am no longer bound by this. I am free."
