DAY THREE — Victory Through Dependence
When the Amalekites attacked Israel, the battle wasn’t won by sheer military strength but by dependence on God. As long as Moses held up his staff, Israel prevailed; when his arms grew weary, Aaron and Hur supported him.
This story reminds us that victory doesn’t come from our own power but from God’s. And sometimes, we need others to help us stand firm in faith when we are tired.
Dependence on God—and interdependence with His people—brings breakthrough.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- When have you experienced God’s power working in your weakness?
- Who in your life helps “hold up your arms” when your faith feels weary?
- How could you be that kind of support for someone else?

About this Plan

THE PROMISED LAND and Milk and Honey Productions have created this plan to help individuals and groups engage the story of Exodus and Leviticus in a fresh way. In this 30-day devotional, you’ll see clips from THE PROMISED LAND, read passages of Scripture, and reflect on questions that connect Israel’s journey to your own walk of faith. Through humor, reverence, and honesty, we’ll discover that God uses ordinary, imperfect people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
