It's easy to judge others, especially when we see things differently. But Romans 14:13 reminds us to be careful not to create obstacles for others based on our own opinions or preferences. We’re called to be peacemakers, not critics. Everyone is on their own journey, and sometimes what might seem small to us could be a big deal to someone else.
When we focus on understanding others instead of judging them, we create an environment where people can grow and feel safe.
This week, think about a time when you’ve judged someone or been critical. Ask God for forgiveness, and choose to be a source of encouragement and peace instead of a stumbling block. Look for one way to build someone up today.

About this Plan

From family to classmates to neighbors to social media, you have the ability to affect those around you. You have influence, and what you do with that influence matters. In this four-week series, you'll be challenged to pay attention to the "butterfly effect" that you have on others and be encouraged for that to be shaped by the effect Jesus wants you to have in the lives of others.
